Don Mark SHORT

Don Mark SHORT was referenced in the 1972 Electoral Roll in NSW. He was residing at Wentworthville with family of some connection. Only one other record has been sourced to date of Don's existence that that is of a court appeal in 1973. The connection to the family in the 1972 Electoral roll has not been proved.

Robert Short b. 10 Jun 1883 Roma, Queensland, AUSTRALIA

Am looking for confirmation that the above named person married Matilda CREERY 10 Oct 1928 in Queensland. Have found records of burials at Mt Gravatt Cemetery, but need confirmation from Death Certificate that it is the same Robert SHORT who was injured in WWI.

Stanley Chloride SHORT

Have been doing some research for the above person. Have found out some info and thought I'd put a Most Wanted up to see if anyone has more information. Born: Abt 1890 Broken Hill, NSW Father: John SHORT - b. 30 Mar 1860, Nailsworth, South Australia, AUSTRALIA , d. 12 Sep 1915, Eastwood, South Australia, AUSTRALIA Mother: Eva WILLIAMS - b. 24 Nov 1866, d. 27 Jul 1955 m. 25 Apr 1889 South Australia Stanley married Kathleen BRADLEY in 1913 in the Swan District, Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA. As for war correspondence with his family in South Australia, there seems to be 2 children of the marriage but the names are unknown. Kathleen re-married in 1921 to John E Rowe. The 2 children were placed in the Salvation Army Boys Home after the death of Stanley. Kathleen only visited them once. The children inherited Stanley's war pension as Kathleen negated her rights to it when she remarried. With correspondence from Stanley's mother and sister to the Army in the 1920's, it is unclear if the children were taken to South Australia or if they were adopted out. I have no avenue to check if the children went to foster homes or were adopted.
